Megan Marlatt is an artist with an extensive background in painting whose work has expanded over the last six years into mask making and performance. This expansion is largely due to her work as founder and director of the artist collective The Big Head Brigade. The Brigade has its own separate website at www.bigheadbrigade.com, and can also be found under the Links section of this website.
On this website, selected pieces of Marlatts big heads can be viewed under The Big Heads tab, along with paintings and drawings incorporating her big heads as theatrical painting props.
Marlatts paintings and drawings can be found under Carnival, "Works on Paper," and Toys when you click down the "Artwork" section. You will find a 4 year long, 40 ft drawing sketched on a 3 inch high cashiers paper tape under The Drawing Roll and selected public art works, including parking lot paintings one can see from Google Earth, and classical fresco murals under Public Art & Murals.
